When you fill a bug usually sooner or later it gets closed with a resolution. The happy end is when you get a Fixed on it but in real life software engineers are very creative and you will have a lot of intermediate statuses that reflect the state of the user or of the developer. here I will just try to put them in plain English,
found the bugger and fixed it... both user and developer are happy
the user is confused, probably on drugs has no idea what the program does. the developer had a good laugh, now back at work
